Power

Today was the first time that I saw the President's convoy in flight.

There were atleast 10 pilot cars, loads of commandoes, one ambulance, one 'jammer'(this apparently detects mines), 3 or 4 buses accompanying the golden-bodied black-glass BMW in which Her Ladyship was travelling. Police blocked the roads 10 minutes before the convoy passed. And everyone from the truck driver to the state bus driver, the taxi driver to the biker got down from their respective vehicles and glued their eyes on to the street for a glimpse of the President.

I myself was blown away by the sheer sense of power in the entire incident. 

The only question I had for hubby was 'How do I become the President of India?'
