Q. Who is more unbearable than a fool?
A. A fool who talks. And talks and talks and talks.
Yesterday, we had a technical training. The trainers were two of our teammates. While Speaker1 did raise a few yawns (sorry buddy, but public speaking is as much about the speaker as about his/her expertise on the discussed subject), Speaker2 got us seriously interested by showing us some real time code compilation. Also, Speaker2 was more assured than Speaker1 and had the audience hooked on to his every word. Somehow, this did not go down well with a certain colleague who started answering questions from the audience on behalf of the trainers. It was evident that he wanted all the people present (specifically the manager) to realize that he was no first-timer with the technology being explained. Instead he was a semi-guru on that. This attitude must have pissed off the trainers themselves. The cake was taken however, by the wife of the above colleague. She is somebody who had better stayed out of coding both for her and the code's benefit. However, she happens to be a developer. And she always has something to say at all trainings and team meetings. Irrelevant questions, stupid suggestions, needless advice - you name it, she has it. She literally got on everyone's nerves yesterday. So much so that another teammate had to speak out 'Can we take the questions after the session is over? They are breaking the rythm.'
Ha ha ha ha !!!!
